What You’ll Find:

We are also close to some of the best hiking trails in the country. We have over 200 miles of established trails and hiking routes. There are several enjoyable family hikes within 45 minutes. 13 of the best trails anywhere from 1/2 mile to 65 miles.

We have one of the biggest fly-way’s for birds heading North making it great for bird watching. We regularly see Bald Eagles–our national bird–flying, fishing, and nesting in the area immediate to our cabins. There are over 120 species of birds using this estuarine area!

Make sure and visit the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. This habitat is set up for Caribou, Moose, Brown and Black Bear, Mountain Goats, Dall Sheep, Wolves, Lynx, Wolverines and a large variety of birds and waterfoul.

There is also an old Army Fort in Kenai plus one of the oldest Russian Churches for sight-seers.


There are several fishing charters near by as well. While we do not allow access to the river from our property, we’ll be happy to give you some recommendations for river or inlet charters.
